Tuesday and Saturday leagues begin May 12th and May 16th, respectively.

Free Referee Clinic! May 16 & 17, 2026
Clinic is Full with a wait list**
Pickleball Alberta has agreed to run another referee clinic for our Club on Saturday, May 16th and Sunday, May 17th.
With our Charity Tournament in July and Club Championship in September, we need to expand our referee team to ensure both events run smoothly and maintain the high standard our players expect.
The clinic will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. Classroom sessions will be held at a venue to be announced, and the on‑court practical training will take place at Spray Lakes Rec Centre.
Refereeing is an excellent way to deepen your understanding of the game, stay involved, and contribute to the success of our Club. Many participants find it enhances their own play as well.
The Club will cover ALL clinic expenses, with the expectation that graduates will volunteer as referees for Club tournaments when available.

MLPlay™ Team-Based Season Opener (aka Minor League Play!)
A fun, inclusive event designed for Club members to mix, mingle and enjoy playing pickleball in a team-based environment. NO rating requirements.
Date: Saturday, May 23rd
Play: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Mixer at Ducks on the Roof: 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Registration for the post event mixer will open closer to the event date
24 teams (6 players each) will be created by organizers

Starting Week of May 25th - MLPlay™ Leagues
The Cochrane Pickleball Club will be offering MLP league play for all levels of ratings this season. MLP play will be broken into two sessions. The first session will begin on
May 25 and run for 8 consecutive weeks ending on July 17
The second session will start on July 27 and run for 8 consecutive weeks ending on Sept 18
Registration opens on Court Reserve, May 4th and closes May 19th for the first session
